2009 KANZ Broadband Summit: Digital Futures

The 2009 Korea Australia New Zealand Broadband Summit: Digital Futures is an annual forum for business and government officials from the three countries to come together to discuss the latest research and commercial developments in digital applications and content and broadband infrastructure.

The 2009 event was held in Auckland, New Zealand on 4 and 5 November 2009 and was a great success.

The summit had 169 attendees and more than 50 speakers from a range of Korean, Australian and New Zealand companies, research organisations and policy and regulatory agencies, who covered a vast range of topics – from infrastructure and development to digital content, multimedia and gaming; cyber safety and security to copyright issues; mobile applications to e-health, and 'green' ICT to broadband enabled experiences.
Productive business to business, aswell as bilateral and trilateral meetings took place during the summit and have identified further areas where New Zealand, Australia and Korea can work together on broadband infrastrucutre and it's application.

The next KANZ Broadband Summit will be hosted by Australia in early 2011.
