Wellington has been chosen as the host city for the Conference in 2010.
Easy to get to… easy to get around. One of Wellington's most appealing features is its compactness. The CBD is just 2 km wide, this bustling, energetic metropolis is full of vitality and has all the attractions of a modern cosmopolitan city. Delegates will be able to stroll between hotels, meeting venues, cafés, shops, restaurants, galleries, and tourist hotspots within minutes.
Wellington is just as easy to get to as it is to get around, being accessible by major highways, the main trunk railway line, Cook Strait ferries, and domestic air services. The airport is only a 20 minute drive from the city centre.
The organising Committee look forward to welcoming you all to Wellington for what will be an informative, educational and interesting Conference.
The Theme for the Symposium is
"Practice Worth Spreading"
The theme has been designed to encompass Innovation, Collaboration and Inspiration that pertains to Professional Development within our industry.
This exciting theme will educate, stimulate and provide delegates with a range of knowledge and tools that will be useful in the workplace.
The Sympopsium is being held in one of Wellingtons iconic buildings - The Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa Tongarewa.
The venue will enable Professional Development to take place in a stimulating business environment.
Located at 55 Cable Street, Wellington, the venue offers stunning views of the waterfront and is close to Wellingtons vibrant shopping and nightlife.
While at the venue it is worthwhile taking the time to view the many items on display as well as the exhibitions taking place.
